Google intends to connect the smart watches using a Wi-Fi, many smartwatches have a Wi-Fi chip-set which is dormant. With Google’s smartwatch, the phone must be on and online while the watch must be connected to a Wi-Fi network and these devices can communicate from anywhere. It means the smartwatch will work even if the phone is near or it is located anywhere in the world. An improvised version of the smartwatch is expected in the market by the end of 2015.
