 Google has been known for its innovative products and limitless creativity since its inception in 1998. And after the recent announcement of their corporate restructuring last month when they established the umbrella corporation Alphabet, it is even more evident that they want to push the limit of innovation even more! For instance, the search engine giant plans to develop a smart computer that can program itself and Google intend to scan all known existing 129 million unique books before 2020. It even hired a camel to create the street view of a desert so it didn’t run into issues like when their street view project faced obstacles in Bangalore in 2011. When it comes to innovation Google knows no bounds and limits. Following are a list of top 5 best and innovative gadgets from Google, which will change the world soon.

Google Project ARA


Through this project Google wishes to provide a Smartphone to the 5 billion people who don’t own a Smartphone. A user has to buy a basic Ara phone and it can be customized to include a more powerful camera, a better display panels, a larger memory and advanced physical keyboards. The Project ARA will allow users to have tailored Smartphones suiting to their usage preferences by adding hardware. Google intends to release Project ERA in Puerto Rico in 2015 as according to the company, the country has an underdeveloped landline system and 77% of the population uses mobiles phones as their primary communication tool.

Google Glass 2


Google Glass faced a wave of criticism from experts and users which lead Google to quietly stop selling it in middle of 2015 but Google has already started working on an improvised version, Google Glass 2. Google intends to deliver not only a technology advanced wearable gadget this time but also an eye wear with a style statement as it has incorporated Luxottica, an Italian eye-wear maker to work on its design. The new version of Google glass will have a better battery life and improved customization options. It can be integrated with other devices more readily this time. Google Glass had built up a huge fan following despite its shortcoming which has only fueled the hope for a more user friendly product at a cheaper price.

Google Nexus 2015

In the latest update on the new Nexus 5 will have a 5.2 inch full HD 1080p P-OLED display with up to 4 GB RAM. It will run on new Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 (MSM8976) processor. It will have a large 64 GB internal storage with a 3180 mAh non removable battery. The phone will be equipped with MediaTek MT3188 wireless charging receiver with 13Mp rear camera and 4Mp front camera. Google has partnered with other companies to ensure delivering a powerhouse phone for patrons of performance.

Titan Drone


Google acquired drone manufacturing company Titan in April of 2014; Facebook had also made an offer for this drone company at that time. The reason for interest in Titan’s drone was its ability to fly long periods of time consuming very little energy and it can carry a payload which will provide connectivity to people down below. The drone team is set to conduct first test flight later this year. The new prototype is a solar powered airplane which can hover in the stratosphere. The drone will provide internet beam to targeted area and it will be highly effective in providing internet to areas affected by earthquake or other natural disasters.


Google Smartwatch 


Google is working on ability of a smartwatch which will operate even when it’s far away from the phone. Currently the latest smartwatches stop working as soon as the user gets away from the phone. Google intends to connect the smart watches using a Wi-Fi, many smartwatches have a Wi-Fi chip-set which is dormant. With Google’s smartwatch, the phone must be on and online while the watch must be connected to a Wi-Fi network and these devices can communicate from anywhere. It means the smartwatch will work even if the phone is near or it is located anywhere in the world. An improvised version of the smartwatch is expected in the market by the end of 2015.
