Dubbed "one of the greatest leaks of Adobe" by the Egyptian hacker, who goes by the name of Virus_Hima, the attack reportedly lifted over 150,000 compromised email addresses and passwords.
According to Virus_Hima, the attack dumped full data for many Adobe customers and partners, including Adobe employees, US military, Google and NASA "as well as many more companies around the world".
The hacker said his motive for the attack was that Adobe doesn't take proper care of its security issues.
"When someone reports vulnerability to them, it take 5-7 days for the notification that they've received your report," Virus_Hima said in the post. "It even takes 3-4 months to patch the vulnerabilities."
We contacted Adobe for comment, which told us that it is aware of the breach and is "in the process of investigating it".
Using the excuse that "such big companies should really respond very fast and fix security issues as fast as they can", Virus_Hima warned that his next hacking attack will target Yahoo "soon", boasting that it is going to be a "very hot leak".
